The story behind the name of “The Ravens”:
The Ravens are the unwanted son of the Browns. Arthur Modell, then owner of the Cleveland franchise decided in 1995, that he wanted to move his team to Baltimore.
But not all sport is fought with literature, in fact, there are beautiful moments in which they join together forever, as happened with the Baltimore Ravens and Edgar Allan Poe.
The decision alarmed the fans and the NFL did not allow such a move, arguing that the history of the Browns in Cleveland should have respect. In return Modell got some Browns players to venture to create his team in Baltimore. Read more about NFL here.
