The team’s original uniform consisted of red and white shirts, blue lines on the sleeves, and white pants and helmets. The helmets featured the revolutionary hat logo until the Patriots symbol was created in 1961.
In 1979, the Patriots introduced red pants with white shirts. The pants were using in 1979 and 1980 but were not using between 1981 and 1983.
